My name is Cat Milford and I suffer from severe myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). I am 22 years old and have not gone to college. I often do not do the activities I loved most like volunteering at my local animal shelters. This is because I am constantly depleted physically and emotionally. I have had this condition since I graduated high school and it has caused a shift in my life.
I have three supportive sisters and a mom that works hard to give us the life she didn’t have. I have dreams of going to UC Davis to study Veterinary Medicine. I created this blog as a positive outlet and support for me to overcome my CFS. I will overcome this and go to my dream school. This blog is also an outlet for others with CFS/ME and together, we will help each other achieve our goals. We will overcome this adversity together!

We will overcome this adversity together!
I am Cat Milford, and although I have chronic fatigue syndrome, I am not defined by my disease. I’m just your average girl who loves nature and animals. I have a lot of goals in life, and nothing will stop me in achieving them! In my spare time, I love to read fiction novels (A Fault in Our Stars is my favorite right now), to blog, and to take photographs.
